When it comes to big golf events, The Masters is right up there with the British Open. Golfers usually try heading into the event, seeking consistency while playing with clubs that they’re extremely familiar with, but not Bryson DeChambeau.

Just days ahead of The Masters, DeChambeau received a brand-new custom-built set of golf clubs, specifically engineered to allow more forgiveness or room for error.

The one-of-a-kind clubs were reportedly built using 3D printing and they were just recently approved by the USGA on Monday. The clubs are made by the brand Avoda, and while they’re unique, they’re still a single-length style, just as DeChambeau has long been using.

Yet, these irons are different in that they have ‘bulge’ and ‘roll,’ designed to offer more forgiveness for DeChambeau. Here’s a bit more info on the new irons and how the bulge and roll are expected to help his golf game, bringing more comfort to his approach.
