Terrell Suggs, a former NFL linebacker, was arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona, on charges stemming from an incident that occurred at a Starbucks drive-thru in March.
Suggs is facing two charges – threatening and intimidating, and disorderly conduct with a weapon.
The latter charge is a felony.
Terrell Suggs played the vast majority of his career with the Baltimore Ravens. He earned the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year award in 2011.

What Happened With Terrell Suggs At The Arizona Starbucks?
Terrell Suggs allegedly reversed his vehicle and struck another car while in the drive-thru line of the Starbucks.
This led to a heated argument between Suggs and the other driver. An initial confrontation stemmed from a dispute as to whether or not the former football player actually hit the car behind him.
When that was over, and both men finished their orders, Suggs allegedly opted to flip him the bird, leading to another confrontation.
During the second altercation, Suggs, who earned the nickname ‘T-Sizzle’ during his playing days, is accused of threatening to kill the other driver and displaying a handgun through his car window.
He reportedly did not point the weapon directly at the man, however.
Court documents obtained by TMZ show the former Ravens player allegedly calling the man a “pussy ass cracker,” then adding, “I’ll kill your bitch ass.”
The vehicle allegedly struck by Mr. Suggs had a device recording both audio and video.
The entire incident was captured on that device.

Suggs Issues A Statement
Terrell Suggs issued a statement through his representative about the incident at Starbucks. It indicates that it was the former NFL star who was concerned for his safety.
“I was in a quiet area of Scottsdale in the middle of the day in a Starbucks drive-thru near my home when an incident happened with a vehicle behind me. I was getting coffee, I was not looking for any trouble,” he said.
“When the man in the other vehicle escalated the situation, I feared for my safety not knowing what his intentions were,” adds Suggs.
“Throughout the incident, I was the one who felt in danger, while fearing I would be followed home and for the safety of my family nearby at my residence.”
This despite saying the words “I’ll kill your bitch ass.” And brandishing a firearm.
Suggs appeared before a judge on Tuesday evening regarding the Starbucks incident. He was released and will be due back in court on April 25 for a status conference, according to ESPN.
A preliminary hearing will take place on April 29. Suggs will have to give up any weapons he possesses during that time.
