The golf legend Tiger Woods has finally revealed the three stars that will be joining him on TGL. The new league is set to launch in January.
Woods’ Huge Announcement
Daily Mail reported that TGL is a new golf league that features six teams of PGA Tour stars. It was formed by Woods and Rory McIlroy’s new company, TMRW Sports. The league will incorporate both the team format and advanced simulator technology into the competition.
Woods has finally announced that Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner will be joining him on his four-man TGL roster for the Jupiter Links Golf Club.
“I have already shared my excitement and optimism for TGL as a league and product,” Woods said in a statement.
“Now that we have finalized our roster with a team of world-class golfers, I am even more confident that this group will proudly represent the Jupiter area and connect with our fans for years to come,” he added.

Golfers Sound Off
Homa is currently the number 9 ranked golfer in the world, and he’s won six titles on the PGA tour. He previously represented the United States in team golf on three occasions at the 2023 Ryder Cup, 2022 Presidents Cup, and 2013 Walker Cup, making him the top-ranked golfer in the club.
“Following Tiger’s career is one of the main reasons that I became an avid golfer,” Homa said. “I remember watching him win the 1997 Masters, and now getting to play alongside him has been amazing.”
“It’s really exciting to call Tiger, Tom, and Kevin teammates,” he continued. “Thanks to TGL, I’ll be able to play with some of the best golfers in the world and bring this unique and exciting format to golf while also finding ways to connect with one of the best golf markets in the country in South Florida.”
Kim is the number 23 ranked golfer in the world and has seven international victories under his belt as well as three PGA Tour wins. He’s widely seen as a rising star in the world of golf.
“I am so excited about playing in the TGL format with this group of guys. Obviously, I grew up inspired by Tiger Woods, but Max and Kevin are two of my favorite guys out on Tour,” Kim said.
“Both are genuinely good guys, but both also have a similar competitive fire,” he added. “It will be incredible to join these guys as teammates. To talk strategy with Tiger in a true competition is something I never dreamed could happen.”
Finally, Kisner is a four-time PGA Tour champion and two-time representative of the US at the Presidents Cup.

TGL Delays
After being announced in August of 2022, TGL’s planned January of 2024 launch was delayed because of a storm in Florida that damaged their $50 million facility at Palm Beach Gardens back in November.
“At this time, while we assess the damage, it is too early to determine the impact on our timelines,” TGL said at the time.
The launch of TGL has been rescheduled to January 7, 2025, on ESPN and ESPN+.
