Hip-hop legend and entrepreneur Snoop Dog has never been afraid to throw his name behind certain brands. It’s one of the reasons why he’s worth a cool $160 million.

Also known as Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Snoop is now getting into the sports game. The legend announced on Monday that he’s putting his name behind the Arizona Bowl in what will be the first college football bowl game to be sponsored by an alcohol brand.

You won’t believe the name. It’s absolutely awesome. Wait. For. It.

The “Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Presented by Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop.” That’s about a lit as it gets in the sports world.

Obviously, one of Snoop’s most-famous songs is “Gin and Juice.”

“College football fans are exhausted by the constant talk around NIL, conference realignment, coach movement, transfer portal and super conferences.

So it’s time we get back to the roots of college football, what it was focused on — the colleges, the players, the competition, the community, fan experience and the pageantry. Being a fan, coach, supporter of all levels of the game, I’ve sent many players through my (Snoop Youth Football League) to colleges and the NFL, so it’s only fitting that I step up and help get this thing right.”

Snoop said in a video statement

Barstool Sports had previously sponsored the bowl game. But that came to an end after last season.

The game is scheduled for Dec. 28 at Arizona Stadium and will match teams from the Mountain West Conference and Mid-American Conference. No word yet on whether Snoop will be making an appearance. But we’re banking on it.

The Arizona Bowl began play back in 2015.
