Colin Kaepernick’s obsession with the NFL is similar to somebody who had a huge public breakup with their girlfriend, posted online about how they were basically slave traders for years, discovered Marxism instead of going to therapy, and then kept leaving creepy voicemails about getting back together.
On the newest episode of The Arthur Moats Experience with Deke, NFL veterans Arthur Moats and Terence Garvin completely tore apart a recent commercial by Nike in which the woke-sports apparel company had a bunch of current football players on a field catching throws from Kaepernick while offering the former San Francisco 49er’s QB, who has not played since 2016, awkward praises of his skill and ability.
The latest Nike campaign, filmed at Nike’s Oregon base, featured Kaepernick engaged in a friendly game with several NFL stars. The advertising spot includes notable NFL players such as Ceedee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys, Najee Harris of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jaylen Waddle of the Miami Dolphins, Chris Olive of the New Orleans Saints, and Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans.
Garvin saw the commercial and from there proceeded to put Nike on blast for what he considered absolute propaganda – attempting to paint Kaepernick’s return to the NFL as anything other than dead as disco.

“The senior prom was like six years ago, bro,” said Garvin. “It’s over, bro. You feel me? You still trying to be the prom queen! It’s a wrap!”
He didn’t stop there though, he then directed his aim at current NFL stars Harris and Lamb who also appeared in the video praising Kaepernick.
“Them dudes were mandated by Nike to be out there,” Garvin stated.
Kaepernick famously compared the NFL to chattel slavery in his Netflix special. It seemed quite the odd way to try to get back into the NFL, so at least this Nike promo is better than that.
