Going to a football game is typically fun enough, but getting to walk out of that game with a brand new car just makes the situation a whole lot sweeter, as military veteran and single father Seth Cole recently learned.
The single dad got the surprise of a lifetime while attending the Tennessee Titans game. During the halftime show’s Salute to Service section, which shines a spotlight on military veterans in attendance as a ‘thank you’ for their service, Cole was gifted a Nissan Pathfinder.
Cole was nominated to receive this gift by the veteran’s non-profit CreatiVets, which was aware that the father of five was currently without a vehicle to go to work or shuttle around his children. What makes the surprise even sweeter is that Cole thought he was in attendance to support the organization’s mission as a volunteer, not as the recipient of any kind of gift.

Cole was honored on the field alongside his children, unaware of the upcoming recognition. Social media users expressed their admiration for Cole, acknowledging his significant contributions to CreatiVet and the positive impact he has had on veterans’ lives.
