That’s right – Jake Paul v. Mike Tyson – something we never thought we’d see here at Bounding Into Sports.

‘Iron’ Mike Tyson Against The ‘Problem Child’ Jake Paul
This historic fight will take place at the home of the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas.
“It’s JAKE PAUL vs. MIKE TYSON — yes, really! — in a LIVE BOXING event at AT&T Stadium you won’t want to miss,” Netflix announced in releasing a teaser trailer for the fight.
In case you’re forgetting or perhaps even too young to have experienced it, here is a sampling of what Mike Tyson’s fists might do to Jake Paul.
Even at the age of 57, Tyson still delivers such power in his swings that simply watching videos of his sparring will cause your hair to blow back from the force.
Biggest Fight Of The 21st Century
Jake Paul has been desperately seeking legitimacy in the world of boxing. And what better way to earn it than to take on a legend like Mike Tyson?
Even with the age difference, this would no doubt be a significant notch in Paul’s belt. Not to mention a serious payday and, if he wins, constant demand as a top draw in boxing.
“I think people, when I said I wanted to become world champion, thought it was just some gimmick or I was saying it just to sell more fights or to gain people’s attention,” Paul said during an interview with The MMA Hour a few months ago.
“When I said it, I actually meant it.”
This bout has a little bit of both – a gimmick that will still get a lot of people’s attention. Will you be watching?
