A fan arrived at the PGA Championship Friday morning sporting a t-shirt featuring the mugshot of Scottie Scheffler.

For those a bit behind, Scheffler was arrested before round two of the major championship early this morning following what appears to have been a “miscommunication” between him and a police officer handling traffic around a crash scene.

Video of the arrest made rounds on social media and a mugshot was released shortly thereafter by the Louisville Metro Police Department.

One golf fan somehow managed to contact his ‘t-shirt guy’ apparently within minutes and got them to produce this masterpiece.

Scottie Scheffler Mugshot T-Shirt Gets Attention

Not to be outdone here is this man’s friend. Sure the Scottie Scheffler mugshot t-shirt is impressive but it’s not particularly imaginative.

His friend. His friend, however. Now that man put a lot of thought into his choice of attire.

Getting a Scheffler image pre-beard, then photoshopping a durag from the ‘Prison Mike’ character from The Office is just … *chef’s kiss*.

That’s a man who takes his craft seriously. An artist really.

Aside from these two, other fans were spotted on the course wearing orange jumpsuits and “Free Scottie” t-shirts.

Fans Or Mocking Him?

Look, I can’t get into the minds of these guys to determine whether or not they’re supporting Scottie Scheffler during this wild incident, or trying to rattle him.

Hopefully, as these fans seem to have done, we’ll get to a point where we can all look back at this morning’s incident and laugh.

Right now though, Scheffler has bigger problems than fans wearing his mugshot on a t-shirt.

He was charged with second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, and disregarding traffic signals from an officer directing traffic. The first charge is a felony.

While the entire incident seems absurd and surreal, this is going to have to play out in a courtroom. And Scheffler is going to have a tough time focusing for the rest of the tournament and into the future.
