On Thursday, the Los Angeles Dodgers held a Shohei Ohtani bobblehead giveaway, available to the first 40,000 fans who showed up at Dodger Stadium. Interestingly enough, there were also 1,700 special versions with Ohtani in a gray uniform, given away at random.

As expected, the Ohtani giveaway delivered a sell-out crowd, drawing 53,527 spectators at Dodger Stadium. But as mentioned, only the first 40,000 got a bobblehead, and the extra rare versions, with Ohtani in a gray uniform, were even harder to come by.

While some fans may have been there for the game between the Dodgers and Reds, others were just there for the bobblehead. So it’s no surprise to see that there are several Ohtani bobbleheads already being sold online in places such as eBay.

As of this posting, some Ohtani bobbleheads with him in the gray uniform have been sold for $2000. Others are listed with a buy-it-now price as high as $5000. The lowest listed buy-it-now price for an Ohtani bobblehead in gray is $1,299, or best offer.

The regular Ohtani bobblehead can be had for as low as $300. Some have already purchased them for as low as roughly $148 and as high as $380.

Whatever the ticket price was for Thursday’s Dodgers game, chances are it was well worth the price of admission, even though the Dodgers lost 7-2 to the Reds.
