Everyone loves Caitlin Clark. Okay, well, not everyone, but it’s obvious that she’s become the biggest star of the WNBA, and her popularity is now spilling over into other sports too.

This time, Clark’s supporting NASCAR as the Cup Series heads to a familiar place, at Iowa Speedway. While Clark is no longer affiliated with the Iowa Hawkeyes, as she now plays for the Indiana Fever, her legacy hasn’t diminished in The Hawkeye State.

In fact, if anything, Clark’s reuniting her connection to the Hawkeyes by teaming up with Gainbridge Life, the current sponsor of the Fever’s WNBA arena, to promote Corey LaJoie and the No. 7 Chevrolet ahead of the Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol race at Iowa Speedway.

LaJoie’s ride will fittingly be painted Black and Gold with Iowa Hawkeyes colors, which now has Clark rooting for LaJoie to take home the trophy. Here’s a look at what LaJoie’s No. 7 car will look like on race day.

The Iowa Corn 350 begins at Iowa Speedway at approximately 7:00 PM ET on Sunday and will be broadcast on USA. We’ll see if LaJoie’s new paint job helps make the Spire Motorsports driver any quicker. He has yet to win a race this season, but he’s also never had Clark’s support by his side. Not like this anyway.
