Angel Reese took a moment out of her busy schedule over the weekend to address the throngs of men sliding into her DMs and asking to be flown out to her games.

Sorry to say, gentleman, that it ain’t happening.

Reese posted a video to social media in which she appears to address a phenomenon in basketball in reverse. Where NBA players are known to fly women out to their games, WNBA players are also being courted in similar fashion.

The Chicago Sky rookie took aim at those fellas, calling them delusional.

“Let me just say something … I just want to say one thing. The delusion of thinking of gonna fly any of y’all out … Yeah, that’s all I’m gonna say,” she said before saying more.

“The delusion of thinking any one of us are flying y’all out … be for real. Thank you.”

Angel Reese Not Interested In Flying Male Fans To Her Games

I’m not sure how much of a thing this is. There are certainly some delusional fans out there. But are people really asking Angel Reese to buy them airplane tickets to her games?

And if you are doing this, have you seen the salaries rookies in the WNBA make? The league could barely afford to fly them in coach before Caitlin Clark and Reese showed up.

You think they’re making enough to fly you out to watch games? Does she have to pay for your dinner too?

Reese is one thing. But she mentions “any one of us.” How many of her teammates are being propositioned by male fans? Nobody knew who Chennedy Carter was until she hip-checked Clark.

The video of the Sky forward chastizing men went viral just after her historic double-double streak came to an end against the New York Liberty on Saturday.

She came up a bucket short in extending the streak, posting 8 points and 16 rebounds, and ending it at 15 games.

Hot Mic Catches ‘Intimate Relationship’ Comments

Speaking of weird relationship goals, Angel Reese had a supremely awkward press conference last week when it was interrupted by a hot mic comment from a woman asking about an “intimate relationship.”

“Are we ever going to have an intimate relationship?” a female voice was heard saying in the background as she spoke with reporters.

“Oh my, that’s an uncomfortable topic,” a man’s voice continued prompting Reese to reply: “Excuse me?”

“I never had any interest in being intimate with anyone,” the man then said.

Of course not, that would require flying the person out to games.

Reese and the Sky will next take on the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday as they try to hold on to the eighth seed in the standings.
