Caitlin Clark may not be getting her due from the jealous bullies in the WNBA, but it seems pretty clear America and the sporting press recognize her greatness.
At least, according to Clark’s great night at The ESPYs!
Caitlin Clark Bags 2 ESPYs
For those who don’t know, the ESPYs – Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards – is an annual award show for athletes. Think of it as the Oscars for those who lace up the boots. Teams and individuals can win awards.
There’s usually a funny Master of Ceremonies like other awards shows, plenty of jokes from the athletes and guests, and it’s an all-around good time.
Especially if you’re a winner, and that’s what Caitlin Clark most definitely is.
Clark was nominated for three awards and ended up winning two.
For her NCAA-record-breaking senior year as an Iowa Hawkeye, Clark won the Best Female College Athlete Award and the award for Best Record-Breaking Performance.
While at Iowa, Clark posted 3,951 points – to go along with 75 blocks, 210 steals, 1,144 assists, and 548 three-pointers.

Clark Well On Her Way In the Pros
It’s always a question whether or not college athletes can transition to the pros.
So far, Caitlin Clark isn’t having any trouble. In fact, she’s a candidate for Rookie of the Year.
Her single-season stats are impressive so far.
Clark has posted 384 points, 136 rebounds, 175 assists, 35 steals, and 20 blocks in just 23 games.
Clark wasn’t in attendance at the event, but she recorded a video for her ESPY acceptance speech.
In the video, she thanks her coaches and teammates at Iowa (because, as always, she’s humble) along with the other nominees and award winners.
