Caitlin Clark is many things. She’s a rookie for the Indiana Fever, sure. She’s a WNBA star. An All-Star, for that matter. But what sets her apart is this: She’s a basketball phenom.

Just a couple of months ago, we learned that Clark had secured a multiyear partnership with Wilson Sporting Goods. The deal included a signature basketball collection – something not seen since Michael Jordan in the 1980s.

The company officially released the basketball collection on Tuesday.

“It feels surreal to have my own basketball collection, and I hope it inspires the next generation of boys and girls to pick up a ball and play,” Clark said in a press release.

Caitlin Clark’s Wilson Basketball Collection Sells Out Quickly

Within hours of Wilson launching the new signature basketball collection featuring Caitlin Clark, the company sold out of each of the four versions of the product.

The designs include one celebrating the former Iowa Hawkeye’s signature celebration after hitting a three, one recognizing her record-breaking achievements, and another noting her ability to energize crowds.

Another model – the EVO NXT 3951 Game Basketball – contains a handwritten note the rookie wrote in second grade: “Get a basketball scholarship. Play in the WNBA.”

If you head on over to the Wilson website to look at these signature Caitlin Clark basketballs, you’ll find that they are all listed as ‘sold out’ or ‘out of stock.’

Fear not, however, The company has stated that more will be released in August.

A Rare Deal

Caitlin Clark’s endorsement deal with Wilson is something that hasn’t been accomplished since the days of ‘Air’ Jordan. A company spokesperson has said Clark is also the first-ever female athlete to have her own collection with Wilson.

As part of the agreement, the WNBA star also gets to personally test, advise, and provide feedback on a wide range of basketball products distributed by the company.

Clark has partnerships with Nike, Gatorade, and State Farm as well.

On Saturday, Clark etched her name in WNBA history as she became the first rookie ever to achieve a triple-double, leading the Fever to an impressive upset victory over the league-leading Liberty.

She’ll be back on the court Wednesday against the Washington Mystics.
