This coming Friday will represent the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Two international music superstars in that of Celine Dion and Lady Gaga will also be on hand for the festivities.

TMZ reported on Wednesday that the duo will team up to perform Édith Piaf’s classic “La Vie en Rose.”

This is absolutely a huge deal. A 16-time Grammy Award nominee and five-time winner, Dion has not performed since revealing that she had Stiff-Person Syndrome back in 2022. This news also comes as the 56-year-old Canada native announced a new residency in Las Vegas. It seems that she’s feeling just fine.

Make no mistake about it, this will likely be the talk of the Opening Ceremony come Friday in France. In addition to Dion’s star power, Gaga has won 13 Grammy Awards on her own. Talk about legends taking to the stage together.

Gaga is not a stranger to performing this popular French song. The absolutely amazing multi-range star performed her song in her brilliant performance on “A Star is Born.”

Interestingly enough, Gaga and co-star Bradley Cooper won the 2019 Academy Award for another song in that film titled, “Shallow.”

The Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony can be found on Peacock at 1:30 PM ET on Friday. Make sure to tune into them. It is going to be an entire scene.
