Ingrid Andress is a country music star. She’s been nominated for four Grammy Awards and is frequently featuerd on country radio stations throughout the United States.
She’s not as well known as Carrie Underwood and some others. But the 32-year-old Michigan native certainly can belt it.
Unfortunately, that was not the case during her rendition of the National Anthem ahead of Monday night’s MLB Home Run Derby in Texas.
The performance was terrible. Objectively terrible.
We’re not even sure where to begin with this. We fully understand that performers like to put their own spin on the Anthem. But this absolutely was not it.
Some of the reactions from the All-Stars told us the story. She failed to carry a tune throughout the entire performance, leading to reactions from those on hand in Texas.
