Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce appeared to be wiping tears away from his eyes as he watched his girlfriend Taylor Swift perform in Amsterdam last weekend.

Kelce Gets Emotional At Swift Concert

Kelce, 34, watched Swift, also 34, perform at the Johan Cruijff Arena in the Netherlands capital on Saturday, July 6. Video went viral showing Kelce appear to wipe away tears as Swift performed her hit song “Everything Has Changed.”

This was part of a surprise song selection that also featured “Mary’s Song (Oh My My)” and “So High School.” The first of those two songs mentions the number 87, which appears to be a reference to the number on Kelce’s Chiefs jersey. Meanwhile, the latter song is inspired by Kelce, who said last month that it has “got a little bit of a sentimental meaning.”

Check out Kelce’s emotional moment for yourself in the video below.

Kelce Is Seen ‘Sprinting’ To Swift

Kelce watched this Eras Tour concert from a VIP box. He was joined there by the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany. The latter could be seen checking on Kelce as he seemingly became increasingly emotional.

The comedian Nikki Glaser also attended Swift’s show in Amsterdam on Saturday night. Afterwards, Glaser took to social media to say that she saw Kelce “sprinting” to Swift backstage.

“We’re on our way out early and we just spotted Travis [Kelce] sprinting through the halls to get backstage,” Glaser said. “I’ve met him before [but] I didn’t have time to say anything but, ‘We love you, Travis.’ And we do.”

Jason Kelce’s Emotional Swift Moment

This comes one month after Kelce’s older brother Jason admitted that he cried when he saw Swift perform for the first time in London.

“It was an awesome experience obviously the Swifties make it very memorable, they know all the songs,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles star stated. “The run of show even, like the 22 hat, dude I’ve never cried at a […] concert and I was literally tearing up watching this little girl’s entire — I’m about to tear up right now — it was […] so special.”

Kelce And Swift’s History

Kelce and Swift went public with their relationship in September of last year. Since then, they have become arguably the most popular couple in the world. During this NFL offseason, Kelce has traveled the world to watch Swift on her Eras Tour. He’s attended concerts that she’s done in South America, Australia, Asia, and Europe.

Swift is just as supportive of Kelce as he is of her. She was a staple at his Chiefs games throughout the entire last NFL season. Indeed, Swift cheered on his team all the way to their Super Bowl victory in February. As the next NFL season nears, it will certainly be interesting to see how many games Swift can attend amidst her hugely successful Eras Tour!
