Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
Okay, we don’t have any breaking news here, but you just know it’s coming down the pike at some point. And when it does, it’ll be the biggest event in sports and entertainment. And, it could be coming sooner than we think.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter, known for his exclusive reporting on the NFL, added to the speculation with comments he made last week on an episode of NFL Live.

Kelce Bought A Horse Named After Swift
First, let’s preface Schefter’s comments speculating on the engagement of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift with the initial conversation.
With love and marriage you have, of course, a horse and carriage. The song does not lie. And the Kansas City Chiefs tight end reportedly went out and invested in the horse part of the equation.
Kelce reportedly invested in a racehorse named “Swift Delivery”.
I’m not sure how the pop princess is going to feel about a horse named after her in a stable on Kelce Manor, but it was surely a nice gesture with the best of intentions.
NFL Live host Laura Rutledge was relaying this story to Schefter last week.
“Travis Kelce made a big purchase recently — no, not an engagement ring — but it was Swift adjacent,” she said.

Did Travis Kelce Get Taylor Swift An Engagement Ring?
Schefter decided he couldn’t leave well enough alone and chimed in with a comment that had the world buzzing.
“I have a question. Laura, how do you know that Travis Kelce didn’t buy an engagement ring?” Schefter asked.
“I don’t know,” Rutledge replied. “Do you know? Are you going to break some big news here?”
Schefter initially sat silent.
“The awkward silence right there speaks volumes,” analyst Booger McFarland interjected. “Do you know something, Schefty? America wants to know.”
“All I did was ask a question about how Laura knew he hadn’t bought an engagement ring,” Schefter replied. “That’s all I was doing.”

While Schefter is clearly engaging in some playful banter, Swifties are going to be drowning themselves in Hot Toddies until Kelce officially springs the question. And they’re not going to appreciate the ESPN analyst toying with their emotions in the meantime.
Reports have surfaced of late that suggest Kelce is actually prepared to pop the big question to the “Shake It Off” singer.
