Morgan Wallen took his country tour to Arrowhead Stadium on Friday night. It’s no surprise that the Kansas City Chiefs’ home hosted yet another country concert. It’s been a pretty amazing venue for that iteration of music.

The 14-time Billboard Music Award winner is among the most-popular in the industry. As us country fans know full well, he’s rocked out to awesome songs such as “Whiskey Glasses” and “Sand In My Boots.”

Friday’s performance was exceedingly awesome as Wallen was seen walking out to the stage rocking Harrison Butker’s No. 7 Chiefs jersey (now confirmed to be a coincidence).

He was also surrounded by Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones.

There is certainly a lot of angles to this.

Kelce showing up for a down-home country concert is something else given his better half Taylor Swift doing her thing in the pop genre.

Then again, he’s always come across as a country boy. Mahomes has been in attendance for other country concerts in the past. So, that shouldn’t be a surprise.

As Kansas City looks to become the first team to three-peat as Super Bowl champs, their stars took a break from training camp to enjoy a good time.

Both Mahomes and Kelce were seen doing their thing during the offseason. But it’s great to see them take a bit of a break before the grind of the 17-game regular season and a likely playoff run.

Here is Kelce with Wallen’s guitar player.

As for Mahomes, he had just attended a Morgan Wallen concert with his wife during the 4th of July holiday.
