Legendary actor Tom Cruise was the talk of the Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris on Sunday.
As Bounding Into Sports reported earlier this month, plans were in place for Cruise to take part in several epic stunts as the Olympics transition from France in 2024 to Los Angeles in 2028.
That included the 62-year-old four-time Academy Award nominee rappelling down from the top of Stade de France and landing on the stadium field while carrying the Olympic flag. A pre-taped version of the stunts also was said to include Cruise skydiving down the Hollywood flag in Southern California as the Olympics transition to Los Angeles in 2028.
About all of that? Yeah, Cruise was definitely on one as he performed stunt after stunt just like his role as Ethan Hunt in the Mission: Impossible franchise.

Check this out. It’s some absolutely amazing stuff.
Did we note that Tom Cruise is 62 years old? Those half his age wouldn’t attempt something as ridiculous as that. Yet, Cruise pulled it off big time.
How about riding a motorcycle during the ceremony? Yeah, he did that, too.
After being greeted by fans and Olympians, Cruise shook hands with Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass before taking the Olympic flag from her.
Here, Cruise is seen at the Hollywood sign with it being all dolled up for the 2028 Summer Olympics.
The entire act was an absolute scene.
And with that, the 2024 Summer Olympics are a wrap.
