When Angel Reese is looking for love, she wants to make sure she’s looking up. The Chicago Sky forward is listed as 6′ 3″ tall, so her boyfriend material needs to have been drinking his milk.
Not only must they be tall, they must be extremely tall. A veritable skyscraper. Reese doesn’t want her man to just be equallly as tall as her, he’s got to be much taller.
Reese was hosting rapper Latto and singer Mariah the Scientist on the latest episode of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast when the topic of her next potential boyfriend came up.
“He gotta be tall,” Reese said. “Like, 6’ 7 (or) 6’ 8.”
The average height for men in the United States is 5′ 9″. A male at 6′ 7″ is in the 99th percentile.
Angel Reese Boyfriend Requirements
While the height requirement seems a bit excessive, Angel Reese is actually shopping around for her next boyfriend in the right market. Because the second criterion is also super-specific.
Reese agreed with her co-host that the next suitor needs to be an NBA player.
Makes sense. In an earlier podcast episode, Angel explained that she “only mess(es) with athletes.”
Now it’s just athletes from one particular league.
This past summer, Reese was linked in rumors to Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren, who is listed at 6-foot-10.
She was seen hanging out with an NBA player and his girl at an NBA Summer League game instead of attending WNBA All-Star events.

Angel Reese had previously lamented the fact that she and her WNBA colleagues are often asked by men to be flown out to their games.
And the rookie wasn’t having it.
“Let me just say something … I just want to say one thing. The delusion of thinking of gonna fly any of y’all out … Yeah, that’s all I’m gonna say,” she said before saying more.
“The delusion of thinking any one of us are flying y’all out … be for real. Thank you.”
It’s unclear if any of those requesting plane tickets are NBA players over 6′ 7″ tall.
Reese was just featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s list of the ’50 Most Influential Figures In Sports’, so potential suitors shouldn’t be long in showing up.
