Second-year Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young did not have a good go at it in a 26-3 home loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
His latest disaster class of a game saw Young throw for 84 yards on 26 pass attempts. When taking into account sacks, Young tallied 69 net passing yards.
This comes on the heels of a horrific rookie season. It also comes one week after Young threw two interceptions in a blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints.
While it’s still early in his career, the former first-round pick already looks like a bust.
Meanwhile, Panthers fans were having none of Young’s performance against the Chargers on Sunday. They booed the former Alabama star throughout the game. It was an entire scene inside Bank of America Stadium.

That’s just an ugly scene. But it’s hard to blame Panthers fans. Young is now 2-16 in 18 career starts with the team. That includes a 2-7 mark at home. Add in how the organization is viewed under embattled owner David Tepper, and frustration is clearly the name of the game in Carolina. That obviously includes Young himself.
Bryce Young Nearly Forced To Tears With Carolina Panthers Fans Booing Him

Young is not having any fun on the football field. His body language on Sunday added to that. Following the interception we posted above and the Panthers booing him, the Young quarterback was almost forced to tears.
We’re not kidding.
Despite the ugly scene on Sunday, new Panthers head coach Dave Canales is sticking with Young under center moving forward.
“Bryce is our quarterback,” Canales said of Bryce Young. “We’re going to continue to shore and fix the things we need to fundamentally, from a scheme standpoint, all those things.”
