Pop star Taylor Swift is no stranger to being in the spotlight over her career. She’s one of the best-selling music artists in history, and she’s been dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for over a year now and their relationship has become a global phenomenon. Speaking of the Chiefs, could Swift end up potentially being … an offensive play guru? Let that sink in for a second. It’s not impossible and certainly intriguing.

Taylor Swift, A Secret Weapon

Over the last couple of years, Swift’s interest in football has become a magnet for pop culture and drawn many new eyeballs to the sport. Combine that with the Chiefs success with winning back to back Super Bowls, and it’s a perfect storm.

However, just recently there was a rather surprise revelation made by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes teased recently that Swift could end up doing something special and help the team next year and she’s invested in the sport, contrary to public opinion. “She’s really interested in football. If you’re an NFL fan and more specifically a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, you are probably familiar with how creative head coach Andy Reid gets with his play calling and play design, specifically in the red zone and down by the goal line. Travis Kelce gets involved in goal line jump passes quite a bit. We could certainly see a situation where his famous girlfriend draws up a play specifically for him at some point during the season and names it after him or their relationship.
