The bell has been rung and the dust has settled regarding the heavily touted bout between Jake Paul and the MMA star and BKFC “King of Violence” Mike Perry, with Paul winning their match up via TKO on Saturday night.

While Paul’s next big fight – which will once again bring him an insane amount of dough – is set to have the millennial boxer face off against boxing legend Mike Tyson, Paul decided that he wasn’t in the mood to wait until November to face Tyson, and after the fight with Perry was over he called out UFC heavyweight champion Alex Pereira to face off.

“I want everybody,” said Paul at a post-fight conference. “I love this sport. He’s tweeted about wanting to go into boxing. We got him on the FaceTime right there in the ring. I said, ‘Yo, can you get out of your contract?’ If he can get out of his contract, then let’s run it. When I asked him that, he had a pause. He looked at his manager (Ed Soares). These guys aren’t their own bosses. I want all the smoke.”

It’s worth knowing that while Paul might want to take on Pereira, the latter would be in in violation of his contract with the UFC unless UFC President Dana White gave him permission, which has a zero percent chance of happening.

“At the end of the day, will Dana (White) let him out?” Paul added. “That’s too big of a risk if I can embarrass his No. 1-praised fighter right now. But I want all the smoke. I want all the MMA guys. I’ve beaten all of them. And who’s next? He’s the king right now of the UFC. I want him. I want to decapitate him and dethrone him.”

Let’s Not Forget About Conor

In a heated response to all the commotion, UFC star Conor McGregor, who is a part-owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), publicly criticized both Paul and Perry before and after the fight. McGregor took to social media to vent his frustration, calling Paul the “biggest pissbag” and accusing him of unfair advantages, such as a significant weight difference and alleged use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Additionally, McGregor announced that Perry was “fired” from competing in BKFC, suggesting that Perry should return to his “Dirty Boxing Championship” promotion.

Perry, who had an undefeated record in BKFC prior to the match, contested McGregor’s authority to fire him, claiming they were both owners of BKFC. McGregor refuted this claim, asserting that Perry only holds a minimal stake in the social media app Thriller, not in BKFC. The dispute culminated with McGregor insisting that Perry has no significant ownership in the bare-knuckle promotion and reaffirming his decision to remove Perry from the organization.

Perry responded by challenging McGregor to fight Paul himself, further escalating the tension between the fighters.
