In a surprising twist in the worlds of MMA and boxing, Conor McGregor, the former UFC champion, has announced an agreement to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition match.
Logan is the brother of Jake Paul, who just defeated the nearly 60-year-old Mike Tyson.
This news came directly from McGregor himself on social media, where he stated that he has “agreed” to the bout.
McGregor’s decision to step into the boxing ring against Logan, a YouTube star turned professional wrestler, marks a significant departure from his recent focus on returning to the UFC octagon. But, he indicates it is simply a step in the process.
“I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India….I have agreed,” he wrote. “I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”
Is Anybody Hyped For A Conor McGregor-Logan Paul Exhibition?
Logan Paul, who has carved out a niche for himself in both the digital content creation space and professional wrestling with WWE, responded to McGregor’s announcement with a cryptic message.
Sharing McGregor’s post on his Instagram story with an eyes emoji, Logan neither confirmed nor denied his participation. However, he certainly added to the buzz surrounding this potential match.
I’m not sure the boxing world has it in them to stomach another Paul in an exhibition match.
While Jake Paul’s fight last month against Mike Tyson was sanctioned, it has faced a relentless onslaught of accusations that it was rigged, with both boxers pulling their punches.

Called McGregor A Leprechaun
Logan may have planted the seeds for this matchup with McGregor after his last official boxing match against Dillon Danis.
After the fight, Logan called out McGregor, referring to him as a “little leprechaun.”
McGregor, meanwhile, ripped Jake before a previous fight, calling him a “little dweeb of a thing” during a press conference for the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).
Who knows? Maybe Logan will avenge his brother’s name.
McGregor’s return to combat sports isn’t just about coming back from injury.
McGregor admitted to using cocaine during a civil trial in November 2024 related to an alleged rape incident from 2018. There, he confirmed having the drug in his car with the accuser on the night in question.
McGregor has faced various legal issues, including this civil case where he was found liable for assault, but he has not been criminally charged for drug use or related to the sexual assault allegations.
