Kai Madison Trump, the granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, has announced her commitment to play golf at the University of Miami.
“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Miami,” wrote Kai on Instagram. “I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey. I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point.”
She even thanked her grandpa, The Don, “for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support.”
This decision marks a significant milestone for the 17-year-old, who has been making waves in the golfing community with her skill and dedication.
Kai says she is “super excited to be a Cane and represent the University of Miami.”

Kai Trump Is A Chip Off The Ol’ Block
Kai Trump has some skills on the links. She won the ladies’ club championship at her grandfather’s golf course in Palm Beach, Florida earlier this year.
Her best score for nine holes is reported to be 29, and for a full round of 18 holes, she’s achieved a 66. Her average score in tournaments is around 75, which is impressive for her age group.
Ms. Trump even reportedly piped a drive over 275 yards before.
She showed off her golf skills earlier this year following a speech she delivered at the RNC convention.

Trump’s Got Game
Kai Trump, during her speech, mentioned how her grandpa always keeps up to date on her golf game and how he likes to play mind games if they’re not on the same team.
“He calls me during the middle of the school day to ask how my golf game is going, and tells me all about his, but then I have to remind him that I’m in school and I’ll have to call him back later,” she said.
“When we play golf together, if I’m not on his team, he’ll try to get inside of my head.”
The Don, of course, is himself a tremendous golfer. Really.
Video posted to social media just last week shows Donald Trump nearly calling his shot on a hole-in-one, making an incredible shot without even watching it.
Last month, the former President joined U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau for a charity golf event and there were plenty of highlights to discuss.
“Trump can play,” Bunkered wrote at the time.
Kai Trump can play too. The U is lucky to have her on the team.
