“I think you’re the greatest, but my dad says you don’t work hard enough on defense,” the boy hilariously says to Murdock. “And he says that lots of times, you don’t even run down court. And that you don’t really try… except during the playoffs.”
The comments break Abdul-Jabbar as he shouts: “The hell I don’t! Listen, kid! I’ve been hearing that crap ever since I was at UCLA.”

He would later become known for iconic roles such as Apollo Creed in the Rocky movies and as Chubbs Peterson in Happy Gilmore.
Bob Uecker – Major League
Bob Uecker played MLB baseball. He had broadcast experience with the Milwaukee Brewers.
And he was a comedy genius, really, parlaying his mediocre playing career into self-deprecating humor that made him a star of endlessly amusing commercials for Miller Lite.

His one-liners became part of movie lore, with the phrase “Juuuust a bit outside,” uttered by Doyle in describing a pitch about 5 feet off the plate, still being used to this day by anybody who has ever played sports or tried to throw something.
Admit it, you’ve heard it or said it yourself dozens of times.
