Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, is struggling to convince fans, media, and scouts that he is NBA material. So you’d think the most significant basketball talent out of LeBron’s kids would be putting in the time before the draft to showcase his skills.

You’d be wrong.

Despite receiving pre-draft workout invites from at least 10 NBA teams, Bronny has chosen to participate in sessions with only the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns.

Bronny averaged 4.8 points per game with USC. He had a field goal percentage of 36.6% and a 3-point percentage of 26.7% and contributed 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. He is nowhere to be found on mock draft boards. One scout flat-out called him “not an NBA prospect.”

And yet he is turning down offers to highlight his qualities to be drafted? Only focused on two teams? There must be a reason for that.

It’s quite a story. In the meantime, here’s what LeBron James’ kids – each of them – is currently up to.

Bronny James, 19

Aside from skipping pre-draft workout invites, Bronny James recently commented on how hard it is to be one of LeBron James’ kids.

“It’s tough,” he said of trying to play basketball in the shadow of one of the top 10 NBA players of all time.

“A lot of criticism gets thrown my way. But you know, I’ve got to deal with it,” he continued. “They don’t know what I’ve been through … I just try to make the best of my opportunities that [are] given to me.”

And yet, 10 teams are inviting him to workouts despite his woes in the collegiate game.

Bryce James, 16

Bryce James, the younger son of LeBron, is considered by some to be a better NBA prospect than Bronny. He is a shooting guard who stands 6′ 6″ tall and attends Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles, California.

In 2022, the 16-year-old signed a NIL contract with Klutch Sports and received an offer to play for Duquesne.

He was caught on video getting a heaping helping of trash talk from his Dad during a recent pickup game. The clip showed the Los Angeles Lakers star hitting lasers from long-range and dropping a ‘GOAT’ reference, all while Bryce tries to taunt him into missing.

All for naught. He’ll be hearing “I’m GOAT, bro. G-O-A-T” in his nightmares for some time to come.

Bryce also recently made some noise when he taunted former Lakers coach Darvin Ham for his performance during the NBA playoffs.

Zhuri James, 9

Zhuri Nova is the 9-year-old daughter of LeBron James. The littlest James melted hearts recently when she scolded her Mom for almost swearing during the 2023 ESPY Awards.

Zhuri has her own YouTube channel called “All Things Zhuri,” where she shares lifestyle content, including baking, yoga, and painting segments.

She also has a keen eye for fashion. She helped launch Janie and Jack x Harlem’s Fashion Row clothing collection when she was just 5.

Zhuri has already shown an interest in various athletic activities as well, including sports like volleyball, as highlighted in a recent Instagram post by her father LeBron.

The post featured Zhuri playing volleyball and was captioned with a proud message from LeBron, who called her “munchkin” while she was serving up heaters.
