LeBron James’ son Bryce revealed his all-time top 5 NBA players and immediately had people scratching their heads.
Bryce tops the list with his Dad, of course. While some would start the argument there, we understand that you have to add Pops to the list. (Plus, if you plan on riding his coattails like Bronny, best to make a good impression).
Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant also make the list, which is beyond reasonable. Eleven championship rings between them speak volumes.
Rounding out James’ list, however, are two men with a combined zero championship rings between them – Carmello Anthony and Russell Westbrook.
A video clip of his selections was posted to social media and captioned, “Bryce knows ball”.

Bryce James Knows Ball
Look, we’re not going to pick on the kid too much here, but this list would more aptly be described as a list of Bryce James’ favorite players.
Jordan and Kobe work. Some would make an argument for LeBron. I wouldn’t, but some would.
But Anthony and Westbrook, both really, really good players, don’t belong within miles of anybody’s list of Top 5 All-Time NBA players. Especially when that person is being described as ‘knowing ball’.
“No he does not,” replied one critic of the list.
Another, who describes themselves as a Westbrook apologist added, “List is absurd and reeks of recency bias.”

Westbrook had so many struggles this past season that he got into an argument with a fan who kept referring to him as “Westbrick”.
And if we’re going to do a list of favorite NBA players, it’s interesting that Bryce didn’t add LeBron James’ former teammate in Miami, Dwyane Wade.
Wade helped LeBron win two of his four championships as part of a super team in Miami in 2012 and 2013. Without Wade and Chris Bosh, James would fall even further down the list of NBA championship winners than he already is.

Bronny’s List
Bronny James made a similar list to Bryce a few months ago and, like his brother, had some curious picks. But at least he was listing his “favorite” players.
That list had LeBron at the top, of course, followed by Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and a tie with Anthony Edwards and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Bryce James, the younger son of LeBron, is considered by some to be a better NBA prospect than Bronny. He is a shooting guard who stands 6′ 6″ tall and attends Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles, California.
In 2022, the 16-year-old signed a NIL contract with Klutch Sports and received an offer to play for Duquesne.
