Lakers star Lebron James is seen on video pushing a man who rushed the NBA superstar while he sat on the bench Monday night
Lebron James had a confrontation with a fan who came up to him before the Lakers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game at Crypto.com Arena on Monday night. It resulted in the NBA’s all-time leading scorer shoving the interloper.
An Unwanted Visitor
As King James was sitting on the bench during warmups, a random fan seemed to appear out of nowhere. In a video of the incident (below), the man appears to grab Lebron James’ arm and says something to the star.
At that point, the 6’8″ forward gave the man a slight push to get him out of his face, likely just from being startled by a stranger suddenly being on the sidelines. Eventually, arena security came over and hauled the misguided fan off the court and out of the building.
Lebron was unharmed and it’s still not clear if the man was trying to harass the superstar or was merely saying ‘hello’. Or perhaps, he was intoxicated.
