The Las Vegas Raiders despise Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. How could they not? Since entering the league as a first-round pick back in 2017, Mahomes boasts a career 10-2 record against the Silver and Black.

As for the Raiders as a team, they just have not been able to compete with the three-time Super Bowl champion and his Chiefs.

It’s led to a lot of bad blood in the AFC West between the two long-time rivals

Taking part in training camp in Southern California, the Raiders opted to troll Mahomes in grand fashion on Thursday. They literally passed around a Mahomes “Kermit” doll during practice. It was all sorts of epic.

As you can see, Raiders rookie safety Trey Taylor was having the most fun with it. How Mahomes responds is anyone’s best guess.

But the game’s best player has in the past admitted that he does sound a lot like Kermit. He’s simply taking it in stride.

“People make fun of my voice for my entire life,” Patrick Mahomes said back in February, via Complex . “I’ve got news about it, it’s like the joke that keeps giving. I’ve heard it all. I’ve heard of Kermit the Frog, I’ve heard the smoking cigarettes, whatever it is, but it’s unique, so maybe I’ll get a deal from that for having that unique voice.”

You be the judge.

Mahomes will let his talking be done on the field this coming season. Kansas City is favored to become the first team in NFL history to three-peat as Super Bowl champions. The Raiders are predicted to bottom feed in the AFC West.

It’s interesting that the Raiders would go out of their way to troll Mahomes after spending the entire offseason saying they are not worried about him.

“If you’re worried about and thinking about the other guys, I mean, you’re wasting time and energy,” Las Vegas Raiders Pro Bowler Maxx Crosby said in April, via The Athletic. “At the end of the day, it’s all talk. You try to go back and forth and say, ‘Oh, we’re going to do this,’ like, I don’t have to say nothing. We’re more than excited, and I’ll leave that [expletive] for y’all, you know what I mean?”

At the end of the day, it’s all fun and games until Mahomes throws five touchdowns and the Chiefs put a 40 spot on you.

The first game between these two rivals will be Oct. 27 in Las Vegas. It will be a popcorn worthy time after the Raiders defeated Kansas City on Christmas Day this past season.
