Marvin Harrison Jr., a rookie wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals and a former star at Ohio State, is currently involved in a legal dispute with apparel manufacturer Fanatics.
Fanatics filed a lawsuit against Harrison Jr. in the New York Supreme Court over the weekend, alleging that he breached a contract he signed with the company in May 2023.
The lawsuit claims that Harrison Jr. has not fulfilled his obligations under the contract. ESPN states the contract is valued at “at least $1 million.”
Harrison Jr. is the son of former Indianapolis Colts great and NFL Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison Sr.

According to the suit, the contract was for at least $1 million and involved autographs, signed trading cards, game-worn apparel, and other marketing opportunities.
Fanatics argues that Harrison Jr. received a significant payment but did not fulfill his end of the deal. They contend their losses range in the “millions of dollars.”
They also claim they made “several requests” over the past few months for Harrison Jr. to fulfill his end of the bargain but that the new Cardinals receiver “rejected or ignored every” one of them.
Harrison does not have an agent and has instead been represented by his father during negotiations with Fanatics.
The company also claims the pair have demanded Fanatics meet or exceed offers from competing companies.
