The 2024 NFL Draft started on Thursday and will run through Sunday in Detroit. Sure, most of the focus has been on where the actual prospects are going to go and what teams plans to do. Trades will also be a major talking point from Motor City.
There is another backdrop to one of the most-popular events on the sports calendar. For some prospects, it’s all about swagging out and looking GQ on the red carpet. It’s not too dissimilar to what we see during Hollywood award shows.
This new generation takes it to an entirely new level. Just check out how LSU product and star wide receiver Malik Nabers showed up to the annual event.
Yes, Nabers is wearing a jacket lined by his highlights with LSU. Yes, that’s all sorts of awesome.
He was not anywhere near alone in rocking it ahead of the draft Thursday night in Detroit. The NFL also did a heck of a job introducing the players as they made their way to the site of the NFL Draft around Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza.
