Fox Sports NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews responded sharply to a fan’s inappropriate comment about her appearance during a recent broadcast.
The incident occurred after she covered the 49ers-Buccaneers game in Tampa, where she explained that her “glow” was due to sweating from the high temperatures. It was rather toasty that day.
Like real toasty. You can see Andrews just pouring sweat under the Florida sun.
A fan, though, suggested on social media that her condition was due to “hot flashes.”
“It’s called sweat and I need a shower,” she said in a recent installment of her and Charissa Thompson’s “Calm Down” podcast, to which “some a–hole wrote, ‘It’s hot flashes.’”
Come on, y’all. Erin Andrews isn’t 25 anymore, but she’s not that old.

Erin Andrews Fires Back Over Creepy Criticism
Well, that comment right there didn’t sit well with the accomplished sports journalist. And she explained her reaction during the podcast.
“Shut the f— … shut up! It’s outside for five hours, enough!” she snapped back.
Her co-host, Thompson, supported her response, suggesting sports reporters – especially females – occasionally reply to such negative comments to set boundaries.
“Don’t worry about those losers, you just keep doing you,” she said.
“People that try and poke Erin and I on stuff, every now and then we’ll respond, just because it’s just like, we had enough… But for every 100 bad comments we may respond to one.”

Setting Boundaries
Setting boundaries on creepy commenters is of huge importance to Erin Andrews for obvious reasons.
Andrews was the victim of a severe privacy invasion when Michael David Barrett, a stalker, secretly filmed her through hotel room peepholes in 2008.
Barrett, who had asked hotel staff for Andrews’ room number, recorded videos of her undressing in Nashville. These videos were later distributed online, causing Andrews significant emotional distress and public humiliation.
In 2016, after a civil trial, Andrews was awarded $55 million in damages, with the blame split between Barrett and the Nashville Marriott where the incident occurred.
Thompson posted a clip of their discussion, captioning it, “Menopause jokes aren’t funny,” with an angry face emoji.
