LASIK.com, a resource providing expertise and information regarding the vision correction surgery, hilariously trolled NFL refs after Sunday night’s AFC Championship game.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-29, but as per usual, the takeaway was more about how the referees had lent a helping hand to the defending Super Bowl champions.

There were several suspect calls, including the Chiefs being granted a catch despite receiver Xavier Worthy clearly not having possession, and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Bills’ Jordan Phillips even though Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce was taunting players.

Perhaps one of the most egregious missed calls was a play in the fourth quarter, with the Bills leading 22-21. They faced a fourth-and-1 at the Kansas City 41-yard line. Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen moved the ball across the first down line by the tip, but the refs ruled he didn’t make it.

Replays showed he almost certainly did.

Do NFL Refs Working Chiefs Games Need Eye Surgery?

The issues with officiating in games involving the Kansas City Chiefs have cropped up almost every single game this season. The playoffs have amplified the problem.

LASIK.com decided to throw in their own two cents with a post on the X social media platform that went viral.

“Better Vision. Better Calls,” they wrote. “Still literally offering all NFL refs free LASIK.”

The post has been viewed well over 2 million times.

The refs working Kansas City Chiefs games remind me of that old WWE Super Bowl commercial where they poked fun at their referees as one walked through corporate headquarters with sunglasses and a cane.

At what point are fans going to have enough of this nonsense? The 1985 NBA draft thinks the NFL is a little too obvious with their rigging at this point.

Offering A Discount

LASIK.com wasn’t just offering discounts to the referees in the Chiefs game, either. They provided a coupon code for other customers to utilize.

But even that took a jab at the NFL. Customers would get a considerable discount if they nominated a ref to get the vision correction surgery.

“Nominate a referee and get $1,000 off* for your own LASIK at http://LASIK.com/football. 😎😅,” they wrote. “*Must mention this promotion and be treated by February 2025 to qualify. $1,000 off ($500 per eye) standard price of Wavelight procedure. Cannot be combined with any other offers.”

The account later urged fans to temper their insults aimed at the refs.

“Referees can be better, but so can we all,” they wrote. “Never personally attack, message, or harass referees. They’re human, just like us, and mistakes happen.”

They’re human, and they all seem to be Chiefs fans these days.
