NFL: Super Bowl LIX-Kansas City Chiefs at Philadelphia Eagles

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce might very well have played his final game on an NFL field Sunday night in New Orleans.

A storied career that includes three Super Bowl championship rings, 10 Pro Bowl appearances, and a multitude of records.

Sadly, it all came crashing down with the Philadelphia Eagles crushing the Chiefs’ dreams of becoming the first back-to-back-to-back Super Bowl champions.

Kelce managed to grab only four catches for 39 yards. He was rendered a non-factor as the Eagles won going away.

Worse, he showed up to the game looking like his Mom dressed him after a super sale at Caldor in the 1970s. And people noticed.

Travis Kelce Mocked For His Outfit

Fans couldn’t help but take notice of Travis Kelce’s pre-Super Bowl outfit. It was, um … something. If ‘something’ was looking like a disco music executive when disco was a thing.

Trust me, bro thought he looked fly, too. Though he really thought he could pull off that new haircut sitting on top of his head, too. So, there’s that.

But you could tell he was feeling it, just watching the way he sauntered into the stadium.

Not gonna lie, my cat coughed up something of the same color last week. You know what I did with it? Cleaned it up and tossed it in the trash. Kelce should do the same with that suit.

There is no way on God’s green Earth that Taylor Swift approved that getup. Fans had an absolute field day with Kelce.

“How are we supposed to take him seriously?” one person wrote on X.

Another chimed in, “What in the Saturday Night fever is going on?”

“Travis Kelce arrives looking like a 70s porn director,” another wrote on X. “Or maybe an extra in Starsky & Hutch.”

Had To Put It Back On

The best part about all of this? Travis Kelce arrived to the game looking like garbage, played in the game like garbage, and had to put the whole outfit back on to get back on the bus.

Fans noticed that as well.

When did it become a thing for NFL players to dress in a manner that makes them absolutely insufferable? You’re going to a football game, Chief. Throw on some sweats. You’re not walking the Red Carpet.

Not to mention, you look like a clown. Kelce definitely fits that category in this gear.

Last night’s game may have been Travis’s last. Rumors of him retiring have been floating around all season. With the Chiefs having been carried this season by the refs, it seems like they’ll be taking a step backward in the next season or two.

Would he come back if that’s the case? If he does, hopefully he’ll clear out his closet of outfits like this.
