On Monday night, the pop star Taylor Swift had a priceless reaction to the Kansas City Chiefs’ wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins scoring a second-quarter touchdown.
Hopkins and the Chiefs were ready for the moment, and brought one of the year’s best celebrations so far.
Swift’s Big Reaction To Touchdown Celebration
Swift was seen jumping for joy and screaming after Hopkins scored to give the Chiefs a lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Indeed, his touchdown put the Chiefs ahead 9-7 with 4:05 left in the first half of the game. In order to make this touchdown, Hopkins had an impressive 35-yard catch on a pass from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Afterwards, Hopkins celebrated the touchdown with the iconic dance from the beloved 2000 Disney movie Remember the Titans. He was joined by multiple Chiefs teammates, including Swift’s tight end boyfriend Travis Kelce.
This may have been a nod to Hopkins’ former team, The Tennessee Titans, who traded him to the Chiefs just before the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday. He played one full season with the Titans, and six games this season before being traded to the defending Super Bowl Champs.
The Chiefs ultimately won the game in overtime 30-24. This made them the only undefeated team in the NFL, with an 8-0 record for the season.

Travis Kelce Makes History
As if that wasn’t enough, Taylor Swift’s boytoy Travis Kelce made history during Monday night’s game. As Swift looked on with pride, he caught 14 passes for the Chiefs. At 35 years of age, he’s the oldest NFL player to ever accomplish this in a single game.
His hands made up for what could have been a costly fumble (or Fumblerooski! as Andy Reid would say) in the closing seconds of the first half.
The previous oldest player to catch 14 passes in one game was the Seahawks wide receiver Bobby Engram. He was 34 years-old when he caught 14 passes in an overtime before his team lost to the to Cleveland Browns back in 2007.
Before breaking Engram’s record last night, Kelce had been the second oldest player to catch 14 passes in one game. Back in 2022, Kelce was 33 years, 108 days old when he had 14 catches in the Chiefs’ playoff win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Indeed, it wouldn’t be surprising if Kelce ends up breaking his own record in the future!

Kelce Surprises Swift And Her Family
This game came two days after Kelce surprised Swift by showing up at her Indianapolis Eras Tour concert on Saturday. He arrived when Swift was already onstage performing to a sold-out crowd at Lucas Oil Stadium. Video that quickly went viral showed Kelce surprising Swift’s mother Andrea Swift, 66, and brother, Austin Swift, 32.
“Andrea and Austin didn’t think Travis was going to be able to make it,” an insider told Page Six. “They were shocked when he showed up. It was an amazing surprise and they were thrilled he was able to be there for such an important occasion.”
Check out their reactions for yourself in the video below.
The insider went on to say that it was “really important” for Kelce to be at this show.
“Travis had practice earlier that day and he wasn’t even sure if he was going to be able to make it,” the source explained. “It was a last-minute decision. Thankfully, he was able to get out of practice on time and show up.”
Swift and Kelce are clearly still having a blast with one another. That’s why fans can certainly expect her to be at many more Chiefs games this season. Whether you’re a fan of Swift’s or not, you can’t deny that her reaction to Hopkins’ Remember The Titans touchdown dance was nothing short of priceless!
