Ever since the pop star Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce went public with their relationship in September of last year, they have become one of the most popular couples in the world. (Or should we say, one of the most covered couples in the world.)
Now, Swift is reportedly preparing to take her relationship with Kelce to the next level in 2025 by making a huge move for him.
Swift Makes Major Move
Swift, 35, is reportedly moving to Nashville, Tennessee so that she can be closer to Kelce, also 35. The “Anti-Hero” singer had used New York City as her home base for years, but this move is indicative of the “new outlook on life” that she’s gotten since beginning her relationship with Kelce.
A source close to Swift told Daily Mail that the singer is making this move so that she can “establish roots in the ground for her future.”
“Taylor has grown up a lot in the past couple of years,” the insider said. “Falling in love with Travis so deeply has shifted her priorities around a bit and has given her a new outlook on life.”
This comes one month after Swift and Kelce notably celebrated Thanksgiving in Nashville with both of their families.

Swift Wants To Eventually ‘Start A Family’
Swift, who also owns homes in Rhode Island and Los Angeles, plans to move in with Kelce full time when they are ready to “start a family,” according to the source.
“She will always have her home in NYC, as well as her other homes around the world,” the insider continued. “Ideally, she and Travis will live together in one home as they start a family. This is no different than any other couple with a family.”
“New York City is exciting, and Taylor will always consider this home,” the source added. “But she is growing, as is their relationship, and she feels that it is time for her to establish roots in the ground for her future.”
Swift’s “return” to Nashville is a poignant one to her.
“Nashville is the place where she started her career, and this is all coming full circle. They both love the city,” the insider concluded. “It is beautiful and it offers them the peace and tranquility with the assurance of safety that they both require.”

Kelce Is ‘All In’ With Swift
As for Kelce, another source said that he is ready to “ride off into the sunset and look to start a family with Taylor.” Kansas City is just a 90 minute flight from Nashville, and Swift’s move could indicate that Kelce will move to the Tennessee capitol when he retires. While Kelce hasn’t publicly discussed retirement, it could be coming sooner rather than later for him, given his age.
“Taylor and Travis are all in with each other, that is a simple fact everyone can agree with but as it pertains to where they will live in the foreseeable future, especially together will be judged by a few factors,” the source close to Kelce said. “Taylor, who won’t be giving up her spots in New York and such, is going to spend more time in Nashville and would love Travis to join her and he will.”
“But in the next few months, for Travis at least, will determine what he ends up doing,” this insider continued. “He’s not ready to retire, but if the Chiefs win a third consecutive Super Bowl, Travis will be more prone to retire after his current contract that expires in 2027 and ride off into the sunset and look to start a family with Taylor anywhere she wants, which is leaning towards Nashville.”
