The former NFL star Tom Brady has broken his silence with a cryptic social media post after his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen announced that she is pregnant with the child of her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend Joaquim Valente.
Tom Breaks His Silence After Gisele’s Pregnancy Announcement
It was announced on Monday that Gisele is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Joaquim. This will be her third child, as she also shares Benjamin Rein, 14, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11 with Tom.
“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” a source close to Gisele told People Magazine.
Hours later, Tom took to his Instagram Story to post a photo of a setting sun.
“Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?” Tom, 47, wrote alongside it. The words are lyrics from the 1975 Fleetwood Mac song Landslide.
Tom added audio over the story, which was from The Chicks covering Landslide.
“Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?” they can be heard singing.
As you can see, Brady is really going through it.

Social Media Users Respond
Social media users have been trolling Tom in the wake of Gisele’s pregnancy being announced.
“Gisele Bündchen, 44, is pregnant, expecting a baby with boyfriend Joaquim Valente,” one user wrote. “Someone check on Tom Brady!”
“This is incredible! I love this for Gisele. Tom Brady is a […] for fumbling this baddie,” a second user commented. A third person added, “Tom Brady just fell to his knees in the plastic surgery office.”
Tom and Gisele shocked everyone when they announced their split in October of 2022. They had been married since 2009 and appeared to be a devoted couple for much of that time. In announcing their divorce, they said that they had “arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.”
“We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way,” they continued. “We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”

Gisele Starts Dating Joaquim
Gisele began dating Joaquim soon after their divorce. He had been her Jiu-Jitsu instructor during her marriage. However, she’s denied that she ever cheated on Tom with him.
“That is a lie,” she told The New York Times earlier this year. “This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful. They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”
Sources told TMZ that Gisele gave Tom a heads up about her pregnancy before it was announced. This spared him from having to find out about it from the media.
Tom appears to have been single since his divorce. His current focus is on his NFL broadcasting career. Tom is also in the process of finalizing a deal to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders franchise.
