The Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his singer girlfriend Taylor Swift have spent the last few weeks enjoying some much-needed downtime together, as he is in his NFL off season and she is on a break from her Eras Tour. Now, sources are saying that the couple has only “deepened their bond” during this time.
Kelce And Swift Have ‘Deepened Their Bond’
An insider told US Weekly that Kelce and Swift have “deepened their bond” during “all the time they’ve spent together recently.”
“It makes the prospect of her tour more challenging. She’ll be sad,” this source continued. “They support and respect [each other]. They have busy careers, so they understand those commitments, as difficult as it is.”
One highlight of this off season was that Kelce got to be with Swift when her The Tortured Poets Department album was released on April 19. The source said that the couple marked this occasion by taking “a trip up the California coast” in order to “celebrate privately.”
“They’re making the most of the time they have together,” the insider concluded.

Kelce And Swift Focused On ‘Spending Quality Time Together’
Another source previously said that Kelce and Swift were in their “nesting” era during his off season.
“They’re focused on rest and recuperation and relaxing at home and having low-key and chill time together,” the insider said back in March. “They are enjoying movie nights in her home theater, catching up on films and shows they’ve missed.”
This source went on to say that Kelce and Swift were focused on “rest” and “spending quality time together” while they had “a break from the buzz of their careers.” Moving forward, they are working on coordinating their “scheduling” so that they can “see each other as much as possible.”
“They don’t want to spend too much time apart,” this insider concluded.
Normalcy appears to have been another highlight of the downtime that Kelce and Swift have shared as of late.
“This is the first time the two of them have had no commitments and they are both really looking forward to being a normal couple and playing house,” another source recently told Daily Mail. “She is looking forward to sleeping in and cooking dinners at home.”
“They both want their relationship to be as normal as possible and it works because they are both very aware of their fame but neither let it go to their heads,” this insider added.

Kelce And Swift Go Public With Relationship
Kelce and Swift went public about their relationship back in September, and they have been getting quite a bit of attention ever since.
“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” Swift told Time Magazine back in December, adding that they “started hanging out right after that.”
Swift went on to explain that she and Kelce “had a significant amount of time” together that nobody knew about.
“We got to get to know each other,” she stated. “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
Once Swift resumes her tour next month, and Kelce gets closer to his next NFL season with the Chiefs, it will undoubtedly only become more difficult for them to spend time together. It remains to be seen whether or not their relationship will ultimately stand the test of time!
