It’s not all bright and sunny days! Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift are reportedly going through a “tough” time as he prepares to head into his next NFL season.
Travis And Taylor In ‘Tough’ Period
Travis has spent much of his off-season traveling around the world to watch Taylor on her hugely successful Eras Tour. Last weekend, however, Travis had to leave her in Europe to head back to his team’s training camp in Missouri. Sources are now claiming that leaving her behind was not easy for him.
“Travis’ last few concerts were bittersweet,” one insider told People Magazine. “They knew their time together like this was coming to an end and he made sure to spend every minute he could with Taylor.”
Travis and Taylor’s respective demanding schedules will make it difficult for them to find time to be together in the coming months.
“It’s definitely tough to be apart but they do everything they can to make it work and show up for each other,” the source continued. “They’re so in love and very, very happy together. All their friends and family can see it.”

Travis Returns To Training Camp
Another source close to Travis said that he “is back in football mode.”
“His team and the Chiefs remain a top priority,” this insider added. Did you catch that? “A” top priority. Not the top priority.
Travis arrived to training camp on Sunday rocking the return of his “Killa stache” look. This showed that he is indeed back in game mode. His team is set to start the season on September 5, when they take on the Baltimore Ravens.
Meanwhile, Taylor still has nearly one month to go on the European leg of her Eras Tour. She will then take a break until October, when she is set to resume her shows in North America.
Taylor’s last European show is scheduled for August 20, and her first U.S. show isn’t until October 18. Last month, a source claimed that Taylor is planning to spend this two month break in Kansas City with Travis and his family.
“Taylor’s been having fun decorating his Kansas City [place], and she’s looking forward to the simple joys of being together,” the insider told US Weekly.
Another source added that Travis and Taylor enjoy “daily FaceTimes when they’re apart and send cute texts to each other. They are wildly in love.”

‘Best Year Of Both Of Their Lives’
Travis and Taylor went public with their relationship in September of last year. She became a mainstay on the sidelines of Chiefs games throughout the 2023 NFL season, cheering Travis’ team all the way on to their Super Bowl victory.
“This has been the best year of both of their lives,” a different source close to the couple said. “[Between] the Super Bowl and their families meeting and traveling the world together, it’s been quite a ride for Taylor and Travis.”
Travis and Taylor are each 34 years-old, and neither of them have ever been married before. It will certainly be interesting to see where their relationship takes them in the future!
