Footage of Paul Bissonnette’s assault at an Arizona restaurant has been released, capturing the absolute insanity of the former NHL player’s 1-on-6 brawl.
The video, which has circulated widely after its release, shows Bissonnette bravely confronting a group of men at Houston’s in Scottsdale, only to be met with violence.
The altercation spilled from the restaurant into the CVS parking lot, where the former Coyote player, despite being outnumbered, managed to land some punches before seeking refuge in the store.
Bissonnette, who earned the nickname “Biz Nasty” during his NHL career, fought off six men.

The incident leading to the fight occurred when Paul Bissonnette stepped in and tried to help management calm the six men who were allegedly irate over not being served.
The former Phoenix Coyote left winger described how he interjected himself into the situation.
“I said ‘listen guy, if you keep harassing and assaulting the staff, we’re going to go outside and have some problems,’” he relayed during a “Spittin Chiclets” podcast.
“The minute that left my mouth, the guys starts swinging, and the next thing you know, four guys start swinging at me.”
The video shows Bissonnette getting some licks in, but he eventually has to retreat to a nearby CVS, where the assailants finally give up their pursuit.
The six men involved in the assault were all arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct. One of the assailants had a felony forgery charge tacked on.
But Paul held the line.

Legendary Quote
While Paul Bissonnette certainly took his lumps in this fight, the mugshots for the six men arrested clearly show he got some licks in as well.
He gave this legendary quote regarding the battle: “Took some, gave more.”

Bissonnette responded to the release of the video on X and tore into the assailants.
“This is the worst of it I took after I knock out that inbred William Carroll […] before we pass the dumpster,” he said.
“It was never going to be a fair fight. Let the games begin. Ate some boot to the head & jaw but wouldn’t change a thing. […] the Scottsdale Six. This ain’t over.”
Seems like these boys messed with the wrong guy.
