Scottie Scheffler has been on fire of late, winning four out of his last five PGA Tour starts. With those wins comes some serious money.
Scheffler has won prestigious tournaments including the Arnold Palmer Invitational, The Players Championship, and of course, the Masters.
The Masters represents the coup de grâce, where he claimed his second Green Jacket with an impressive final score of 11-under and a four-stroke win.
This past weekend he added the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links to his list of tour wins.

Scottie Scheffler Making Money
With those wins comes some serious paychecks. And people have noticed that Scottie Scheffler is making money hand over fist of late.
Namely to the tune of $16.2 million since March 7th.
That’s $16+ million in under two months of work. Roughly $812,000 per round of golf during this stretch.
Not a bad gig.
Let’s take a look at how much cash Scheffler has earned in his last five tournaments.

Arnold Palmer Invitational – 1st
Scottie Scheffler shot a -15 for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, defeating Wyndham Clark by 5 strokes. The win earned him a cool $4 million.
The Players Championship – 1st
Scottie won the Players Championship in a closely contested tournament. Scheffler shot -20 and fended off three other players at -19: Brian Harman, Wyndham Clark, and Xander Schauffele.
The difference between first and second was significant. Scheffler received a check for $4.5 million while the runners-up got one for just under $1.9 million.
Texas Children’s Houston Open – Tied For 2nd
Scottie Scheffler earned a decent paycheck at the Texas Children’s Houston Open finishing in a big group of players one shot behind eventual winner, Stephan Jaeger.
The showing earned him $553,735.
The Masters – 1st
Scottie Scheffler was the odds-on favorite at this year’s Masters and he didn’t disappoint. The win earned him significant prize money.
Scheffler ran away with his second straight green jacket shooting a final round of 68, for an overall score of 11-under par.
He defeated Ludvig Åberg by four strokes and was never seriously challenged.
This win and his latest dominant play have some experts asking if a Grand Slam is in play for Scheffler.
RBC Heritage – 1st
Demonstrating that he has no plans to slow down, Scheffler followed up his Masters dominance by taking the RBC Heritage in South Carolina.
He posted a blazing-hot 63 in the third round and coasted to a 3-stroke victory over Sahith Theegala.
The win allows him to pocket yet another $3.6 million.
Scheffler’s 2024 Overall Earnings
Adding in the RBC Heritage money, Scottie Scheffler has now won roughly $18.7 million on the PGA tour this year alone.
But this is nothing new for him. He led the tour money list last year with just over $21 million. And the year before with over $14 million.
He seems well on his way to eclipsing his previous high last season. But here’s a little perspective.
Golf Digest reports that Tiger Woods’ 2000 season, a historic one, netted him just over $10 million. Woods won nine times on the PGA Tour that year, including the final three majors of the season, a feat that had never been achieved before.
His victory at the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach was by a jaw-dropping 15 strokes.
Using comparable earnings from today’s tournaments, Golf Digest calculated that Woods’ earnings by comparison would have been – get this – over $92 million.
Scottie Scheffler has a ways to go before he earns that kind of money. But he’s well on his way to putting together a dominant season not seen since the glory days of Tiger’s run.
