Caitlin Clark is living her best life, enjoying a little well-deserved rest and relaxation after being left off the Olympic roster.
Sure she’d probably rather be playing and competing for the gold medal in Paris, but it wasn’t in the cards this time around and she is definitely making the best of the situation.
Last week, she was spotted floating on a mat in the breathtaking waters off Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
This week, she’s on stage with a country music star, singing along to one of his hits.
Clark and teammate Lexie Hull got up on stage at a Jordan Davis concert in Indianapolis and joined him in performing one of his top songs, as the crowd in attendance roared their approval.

Clark said she wasn’t “bummed” about being passed over for a spot on the Olympic roster and, judging by how she’s spending her time off, it’s definitely true.
The WNBA’s Olympic break began on July 21st and will end on August 14th. The Fever won’t be back in game action until the 16th when they take on the Phoenix Mercury at home.
Clark was reportedly left off Team USA due to veteran players being concerned her fans would react negatively to her getting fewer minutes than the other stars.
The rookie has been handling the controversy with class, saying she’s happy to get a break but will work like hell to make the Olympic team at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
“No, I think the break has definitely been good,” she said.
“It’s certainly cool – an opportunity you only get once in four years,” Clark continued. “So I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily bummed, it gives you something to work for, something to dream of.”

What Song Did She Sing?
You might be wondering what Jordan Davis song Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull sang along to. Or, maybe you don’t really care after seeing the two WNBA players looking very country-chic on the stage.
Either way, it was a song called “Buy Dirt”, a recording which features fellow country music singer Luke Bryan.
The country look suits Caitlin and Lexie, but then, so did the ‘fun in the sun’ look down in Cabo.
While it seems pretty obvious that Caitlin Clark isn’t exactly dwelling on the Olympics snub, Team USA might be. Ya know, just a little bit.
South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley recently suggested as much. She said if Team USA had to do it all over again, they’d be thinking a little harder about adding Caitlin Clark to the Olympic team.
Without her on the court, attendance for Team USA games is suffering.
More people are going to watch that clip of Caitlin Clark singing with Jordan Davis in the next five minutes than there will be in attendance when Team USA takes on Belgium later today.
