We’ve all seen Caitlin Clark heat up on the court, but now we have a look at the Indiana Fever star cooling off away from the hardwood.

And if there’s any lingering animosity about being snubbed for the Olympic Games in Paris, Clark doesn’t seem to be dwelling on it.

An image of the WNBA rookie and her teammate Lexie Hull was posted to Instagram. The two can be seen floating on a mat in the water during a little break to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.

Hull is wearing a red bikini while Clark sports a brown two-piece, flashing peace signs. The image is captioned: “Just a couple mermaids.”

Katie Lou Samuelson, who appears to have taken the photo, was also on the trip.

Caitlin Clark Bikini Fun

TMZ reports that Caitlin Clark and the girls, following their bikini bathing in the sun-kissed water, went on a little boat ride in the resort area.

“Clark was having so much fun, she posted a pic of the ride to her IG stories,” they write.

But is it more fun than being in Paris representing Team USA in the Olympics?

TMZ notes that Clark’s vacation is well-deserved, having never truly gotten a break between the conclusion of her career at Iowa and the start of the Indiana Fever season.

The last time we saw the rookie on vacation was a trip to Italy with the girls last August. It appears she likes the brown color so much that she gave it a run then as well.

Enjoying the Time Off

After an intense year of basketball, including leading her college team to the NCAA Championship game and being drafted into the WNBA, Clark is taking some time off to relax and recharge.

Clark’s break comes after her participation in the WNBA All-Star game and will last until the Fever return from the Olympic break on August 16th.

She dished out a rookie-record 10 assists during the All-Star game, helping her team to a somewhat surprising victory over Team USA.

Caitlin expressed her relief in getting a little downtime following the contest.

“I can’t wait to not touch a basketball,” she told reporters after the game.

It wasn’t long until she appeared to have a change of heart, however. Bri Lewerke posted a series of photos of the Indiana Fever and asked followers, “Who else is already missing Fever basketball?”

“Me,” Clark responded.
