Actor Paul Walter Hauser won an Emmy on Monday for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for his performance in “Black Bird.”

During his acceptance speech, he started name-dropping pro wrestlers.

In his speech, which turned out to be a lyrical masterpiece, Hauser referenced that he was about to beat Matt Cardona and shouted out Kota Ibushi. He also mentioned the Wolfpac and DDP, and closed with a Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von) reference by saying “get the tables.”

…who Hauser is actually facing in the ring in a match on March 16 at REVOLVER Wrestling’s Ready or Not.

So the actor was accepting an award – and promoting his upcoming match.

Hauser’s hands were shaky as he read his speech from his phone and no doubt many of the high-profile celebrities in attendance likely knew little about the wrestlers he mentioned.
